| Salvatore Porcaro in La donna il sesso il superuomo (1967):
Salvatore Porcaro is an italian actor; he played an important character in 7 chili in 7 giorni, and I found him also in 2 other movies so far, even if uncredited.
He's very fat and has a strong southern accent, I guess he should be from Napoli.
For some reason, the Verdone encyclopedia listed him as TotÚ Pinto, http://verdonepedia.xoom.it/Att_p.htm.
I suppose they're wrong, because there is no TotÚ Pinto in both opening and ending credits of 7 chili in 7 giorni.

| His only credited role in 7 chili in 7 giorni (1986):

| So I think this is him in Una questione d'onore (1966) as the sardinian village medic.
But how do you know Salvatore Porcaro is his real name, if he's credited in only one movie? Maybe Verdonepedia is "almost" right, because in Gli anni ruggenti e in Una questione d'onore there is an actor called TotÚ Ponti, which is also a really southern name and that could be him.

| Good! Well, you could be right... but I have checked the credits of Anni ruggenti and I didn't find TotÚ Ponti, nor Salvatore Porcaro...?
I suppose this man could be Salvatore Porcaro only because his relevant role in 7 chili in 7 giorni, a movie with dozens of credited actors, and I thought it must be credited... by the way he's the husband of Fiammetta Baralla, and in the credits they are close... obviously these are not sure things, it's only my opinion.
I add his new role, and let's see if we have to change his name.

TotÚ Ponti's name is in the opening credits. It's the first name in the low left list at 0:00:30 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPExq7gfhAI ).

| D'oh... you're right, I must have missed his name, don't know why
So we do have to change the name of this thread.

| I know Salvatore Porcaro since a long time ago I've recognized and added him in the http://cinema-italiano-db.de/film.php?film=2908 for the movie La donna il sesso il superuomo (1968).
I've identified him thanks to the Fellini's faces book, where there is a nice photo of Salvatore.

Ah, O.K. Thanks, Ghibarian!
Now I wonder who TotÚ Ponti is...

| Do you mean I was right, Ghibarian? I'm surprised, I thought TotÚ Ponti was the right name for this one...
By the way, is it possible to see his photo on Fellini's faces?

| Here Salvatore Porcaro's photo from Fellini's Faces book:

| I believe he appears in Amarcord (1973) in a small role as Bobo, the fat schoolboy who is accused of farting in the classroom:

| Ah ah I forgot that sequence...
To me it's him

|Maybe TotÚ Pinto is a pseudonym. TotÚ in fact in naples language is an abbreviaton of Antonio, but in sicilian language can be an abbreviation of Salvatore. Pinto has probably been invented to refine the original surname that meaning one who kills pigs. No doubt that his facial features are very similar to the people of Naples.|
