| Piergiorgio Plebani in Sono stato io (1973):
This is another actor who stars only in pictures shot in Milan; so far I've spotted in 10 movies, and I think that at least in Storie di vita e malavita he should be credited. After a few months we are sure that his name is Piergiorgio Plebani, sometimes credited simply as Giorgio Plebani.
Many many thanks to Ghibarian and Johan Melle for helping me in his identification!

| "Man with one expression"! HAHAHA! Great name for him!
Btw, who are the unidentified actors from Storie di vita e malavita that could possibly be him?
|Posted by: vecchiaguardia November 26, 2010 04:26 pm|
Plenty of unidentified actors in that one, sadly...
Look at Pollanet's page about the movie and you'll see. I thought he could be Mario Mercalli, but I discovered that he's credited in a couple of movie where this man doesn't appear...

| maybe good news!!
Our man has a small talking role in Luna di miele in tre (1976). I've just seen it in tv.
There are few italian actors in this movie so I think he could be Walter Villani, cause Villani is credited in Storie di vita e malavita that we have already in the list!
So we should check these movie to be 100% sure:
-Noi non siamo angeli
-Paul Temple (TV series) – Steal a Little Happiness (1970) … Policeman

|Unfortunately, Walter Villani is not our man. Villani did several fotoromanzi for Grand Hotel. I just checked my GH magazines it's not him...|

| ummm.. bad news..
btw please show us a pic of him when you can..

| Sure! Here is Villani in "L'affarista" from 1967:

| This is our man in Luna di miele in tre (1976):
I don't know if he was credited; it's odd, because Luna di miele in tre is the movie where Vittorio Pinelli is credited but he's not visible...
|Posted by: vecchiaguardia January 30, 2011 01:20 pm|
| Hey, wait a minute: in Luna di miele in tre is credited Giorgio Plebani, and in Storie di vita e malavita Piergiorgio Plebani, it could be the same actor obviously...?
I see Piergiorgio Plebani also credited in Il grande duello, who can check this movie? I can't...
|Posted by: vecchiaguardia January 31, 2011 03:29 pm|
|Anybody has Il grande duello? Otherwise, I'll start the download...|
|Posted by: Ghibarian January 31, 2011 04:18 pm|
| damn... I forgot to have it..
|Posted by: Ghibarian January 31, 2011 04:46 pm|
| I've just quickly checked and he appears in Il grande duello in a very small talking role!
so.. YES he could be Plebani!
|Posted by: Johan Melle January 31, 2011 05:11 pm|
|That's great! It seems very likely that he is Plebani then!|
|Posted by: vecchiaguardia January 31, 2011 06:43 pm|
So I think that we can say that this one-expression man is Piergiorgio Plebani once and for all!

|Thank you guys...! I've moved this topic in actors category; Ghibarian would you tell me which role did he play in that western please?|

| Hey, guys! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_6cUC83AgY
It's from a 1966 newsreel, there's Piergiorgio Plebani, he's called by name and we can hear his real voice!
Apparently he worked as a carpenter, as a truck driver and even as a birdseed unloader, before being spotted by Gino Negri, becoming a storyteller and then an actor.

Anyway the song is awful
|Posted by: UomoBlooper April 23, 2012 05:47 pm|
I'm sorry for Piergiorgio, but yeah, I must agree with you!
Anyways, here are two frames from the Newsreel (I don't know which one in particular). Sorry for the watermark, but this is the only version I found on the net.
That man is obviously our Piergiorgio, so I think there's no more doubts.
