Another generico who appears everywhere. After much search, his name was finally discovered thanks to his credited role in the fotoromanzo Dalida N. 3: "Occhi senza ricordo" (April 1973).

In this forum there are scans from the fotoromanzo nero James Bix N. 3: "S.O.S. Floride" and there we find him again (and also Fulvio Mingozzi): http://bdtrash.forumdediscussions.com/romans-photos-f15/james-bix-n3-sos-floride-quel-con-ce-alpha-1-t941-45.htm

James Bix was made with Aldo Agliata (who played Killing) after the Killing fotoromanzi came to an end in France. It's very strange but it looks like James Bix was made especially for France and only published there even though it was made in Italy with Italian actors...

I have also found in Le avventure di Ray Kolman N. 34: "Un'orchidea rossa di sangue" (published September 1972) in a relatively big role but he was uncredited. But I am very sure that there must be some fotoromanzi where he is credited. The search goes on...

ps: I think the man next to him is Vittorio Ripamonti (not credited on imdb)

QUOTE (Johan Melle @ July 18, 2009 03:36 pm)
Here is our unknown friend in a wedding scene with many, many generici in the famous fotoromanzo-a-puntate "I fratelli Zaccheo" - published in Grand Hotel in 1984:

...a little bit aged, but I think the officer should be probably him.
Do you agree?

I have now restored all my pics of him that were lost. Unfortunately, all of Ghibarian's pics are still missing but I hope they can be restored!

Anyway, I just found our man in the fotoromanzo Dalida N. 3: "Occhi senza ricordo" (April 1973), where he has a nice little role:

He plays a man named Curtis, and as you can see, the actor who plays this role is credited:

So we now finally know that the name of our generico is BRUNO DEGNI! happy.gif

Posted by: Johan Melle October 24, 2014 07:29 pm
Now that we have finally identified Bruno Degni, I want to pay a little tribute to him by posting some pics from a few of his most memorable fotoromanzo roles.

I begin with Kimba re dell'Africa nera N. 12: "Il segreto" (October 1970), where our Bruno has a really wonderful role as a villain:

This is the most substantial role I have found for Bruno. He is not credited because the Kimba fotoromanzi never credited any of the actors. Instead there is a page with pics and a small description of the main characters, and Bruno is present - a good indication of how important his role is here:

Another very important fotoromanzo role for Bruno is in Monica N. 47: "Il passato che ritorna" (January 1972). He is uncredited (unfairly so) but has a very important role in the first part of the story - set in World War 2 - as a loving father who is taken away by the Nazis:

And then he has another very nice (but uncredited) role as a Russian secret agent in Le avventure di Ray Kolman N. 34: "Un'orchidea rossa di sangue" (September 1972):
